Actually this is taken in Davenport, Moline area. Of course the plant is so spread out, there are a few locations. I work mainly Construstion & Forestry side, however I do get to play with the Ag stuff sometimes. I spend allot of time at Coal Valley when I'm back stateside, and yes I work for Deere. I'm currently working on a military contract based on the 624K loader and 850J bulldozer. Couple more. The last pic is of me and two colleagues after teaching a class to the USMC. We had just completed a maintenance class training them out to install the 8K lb armored cab that they use in combat and hydrualic/electrical theory. Some pics of the Operators training, I had the guys dig over 20feet in a pit and pushing some serious dirt, that was fun.

Ok, I'll bite on this and go ahead and apologize in advance! LOL! First one is one of my favorite North Georgia streams and my dearly departed dog Jack. Second one is from UGA Geology field camp in Canyon City, CO during the summer of 1997.

    Jerry,

I would love to! Ben has called and invited me to some gatherings on multiple occasions, but work always gets in the way. I work on a site in Brunswick GA, 6 days a week, 12 hours a day. Everytime I've thought I would be able to break away and get back up to North GA for one of the gatherings, something always comes up with work. One of days I am going to come up and hang out with y'all. I've been looking forward to it for some time. Y'all keep on inviting me and keep me posted. I'm going to make one I swear! It's been nice working down here, but I grew up in the Dawsonville/Dahlonega area and I am missing the mountains something fierce. I can't wait to make it back for a little bit.
