I currently have a PSW10, and I am looking to upgrade (I am also thinking about having a two subwoofer setup). I not looking to spend too much money, and buying a used sub is an option. Please let me know what you guys think I should get.
Thanks.
Thanks.

How big is your room and what's your budget? The bigger your room size and the higher your expectations, the more you're typically going to have to spend.
Your best bet is to get a sub from an internet direct site like SVS, HSU, Elemental Designs, outlaw audio. I've only had the chance to hear subs from HSU and SVS, and I personally preferred the HSU for superior sound quality, though many others are very satisfied with SVS subs.My System Showcase!

+1 you may also let us know what other speakers you have, and application (HT or music or both) Do some research on subs especially on choosing the right sub for the room and application. Two subs is a very good option but could lead to integration problems. From the info in your post I would say there is a lot of room for improvement over what you have.
A couple basic generalizations, but not hard rules,
Sealed subs = music
Larger driver, large box, bigger amp = more output and lower usable freq.
Remember those are generalizations and there are plenty of exceptions to those. -
If you are interested I have a DSW pro 400 for sale in the sale forum. It would be a great upgrade to your psw10 and would cost you alot less than the SVS's. Depends what your budget is, but if you decided on my dsw it is a hell of a sub!

Over on audiogon there is psw1000. the seller is asking $425. I do not know what the shipping would be though.

SVS or Epik. I own SVS myself and vouch for them and so will allot of others. Epik seems to be the underdog with killer products as well. Also check out Elemental Designs.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!
