Are you asking about the sub in general or the price?

search works pretty good for fastest results.

I guess I didn't state my question as I should have. I was wondering about the different amp that the guy has installed. The price I believe is good that part I'm not worried about its the amp I have a question on. Does anyone have any experience with this particular amp and if so how does it compare to the one that came factory with the sub itself. I realize that It is rated with more watts but not sure what kind of difference it any it would make.

I saw that sub the other week, theres also a passive version of it. Honestly, you'd have to do a little research into the amp itself to see if its really compatible with whatever way the seller has the 2 subs hooked up. I believe theyre 4 ohm subs, so hes either got it in parallel or series...so 8ohm or 2ohm and I've read reviews how these things aren't meant to run at 2ohms at all. I'm going to try either the 500watt bash or dayton version from parts-express for a DIY project and will let you know how the amp itself runs in the future.

Sorry can't comment with experience with the the Dayton amp. Dayton gets some good reviews. I'm always hesident to buy modded equipment unless it's from someone I know or really trust. Polk put a lot into the design of the sub, so it would be questionable how much of an improvement this would be. Not that modding can't improve on something, but I have to wonder how he is doing it. It looks like he has done many (is making a business with this). Best I can figure he's got about $600 in material, selling for < $500.
I know this isn't much help, but it's all I got.
