Will the improvement in the Epson over the Panny be significant?
Sit 13' from 120" screen in a dedicated HT with dark navy blue walls ceiling and carpet.
Screen is homemade using blackout cloth (white fabric).
I have a blu-ray and DirecTV HD.
I think that's all the factors that need to be considered.
Thanks in advance for your opinions and experiences with either PJ.

Definitely go with the 6100. You surely won't regret it either. Epson makes very nice PJ's so the 6100 should perform well for you.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

Also I forgot to add, with such a huge image size you will surely notice improvement with the 6100. I sit 13 feet from 126" screen and the image via the Carada is stunning. You may also want to try some screen samples as you will probably notice more improvement with dedicated screen. Just a thought.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

I considered this also. A screen may have to be my next upgrade, but it might be a tough one. The image is so nice on the $35 screen that I'm not sure I can convince the little lady that we need a new screen:p
BTW, I did pick up a 6100 and though I haven't had but about 20-30 minutes to spend with it, initial impression is that the picture is significantly better. Very happy with the purchase and I appreciate you guys pushing me over the edge to go ahead and buy it.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden
