Hello Keith, ive got a pair that are in great condition that are in my 10B's. The serial # is 55141784, date is marked may 29th 1984. They also have 5jr marked on both, but those also used these tweeters and we know how Polk always had these marked for different speakers and ended up in others. Ive been thinking of upgrading to rdo194's but here's my problem, im not sure if im going to like the upgrade. What are these even worth, or do you have anything we could possibly do a trade for? New caps? resistors? tweeters?
The newest model of tweeter ive listen to in the model 10's are the sl2500, and honestly l was not that impressed, but l was not able to do a comparison using the same sources driving them both.
Everyone on this forum talks about what junk these tweeters are, and l like the way mine sound. But that could be the way l listen to music compared to the way others listen, and also the types of music.
What, if you dont mind me asking, are you planning on using them for? Project?Most of them only hear how loud it sounds, and the rest of us hear everything else - :rolleyes:
