trying to find a mate to my Polk Audio Monitor Series 2 speaker (single)

Someone recommended that I hit up the polk audio forums to check...
I'm not sure the best way to go about trying to find a mate to my single Polk Monitor Series 2 bookshelf speaker that I found at a thrift store. It's in great condition and I'm anxious to see if I can't find another single one to complete a pair.
It has a 5&1/4" woofer it looks like and a 1" dome tweeter with the words "Polk audio" surrounding the tweeter. It's rather heavy and front ported with a grill that has the "i" in audio as a heart (???). Interesting. Anyway - does anyone know the best way to find the mate to this orphan?
any help will be very very appreciated.

Pictures would be immensely helpful. The speaker is likely close to nearly 2 decades old now, so it may or may not have a serial number. It's usually in the top-right corner of the back panel.polkaudio Monitor 5 Series II

Looks like the Monitor 4.6, Series 2 (see HERE).
Check below the UPC code on the speaker's sticker--I believe it may have the model number in small print there.

Monitor 4.6 Series 2, I think. At the moment, eBay has a ton of older Monitor 4's, but I haven't seen anything Series 2 on there in a while. You may be interested in a pair of bigger Monitor series. M4's were alright, but always rather entry-level. Look across your local Craigslist as well as eBay for Polk; Monitor 5's are nice but lack bass extension. Monitor 7's are relatively balanced, but the cabinets are on the large side. Monitor 10's are quite big, but tend to be considered a bit bassy. All depends on your definitions, however. Craigslist would be an ideal place to start; Monitor 7's and Monitor 10's literally pop up all the time.polkaudio Monitor 5 Series II

I'd consider parting it out and using those funds to go towards buying a complete set. Finding singles will be very hard. -

Right...I could try it. I just really like hearing new sets of speakers (I've bought over 27 pairs of speakers in the past 4 months!) and getting my fill...
But it's true that it will probably be difficult to find a mate. I will be checking the thrifts just in case though. -
Find another pair to match and use the one you have for a center, just a thought. Most of them only hear how loud it sounds, and the rest of us hear everything else -
