Well I might as well introduce myself... (Check the signature)
Now who can answer my question; why do my SDA-1A's have SL1000s in them when, according to:
http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showpost.php?p=916059&postcount=8
They should be running SL2000s.
Check the post for the terminal cup pictures.
This is still going to be an off forum sale though
EDIT: Christ you guys are fast btw, less than one hour. -
*shrug* I pointed it out in the first place. Those look to be different cabinets as well; a hybrid of SDA-1's and SDA-1A's. The cabinets themselves definitely look to be 1A; there's no ports between the midwoofers and there's SL1000 tweeters. *shrug* Out of curiosity--what are the serials on those?polkaudio Monitor 5 Series II

They're in the pictures.
EDIT: they will be shortly... -
Didn't want to make a new thread, but does anyone else have any ideas on the reason why these speakers look like 1's with SL1000 tweeters and with the original cabinet? They have "A" clear as day on the tags though. Not sure if these are indeed A's or original 1's...

They were probably later production SDA 1's, that were produced during a transitional period. They probably ran out of the original SDA 1 serial number tags, and instead of printing more of them up, they just started using the SDA 1A serial tags.
Polk is infamous for things of this nature.
Also, not all of the original SDA 1's were ported. The earlier ones were, but they did away with them after a while. Here's a picture of an original SDA 1 Signature Edition with SL-1000's and no port. The plaque that signifies it as a Signature Edition is over the spot where the ports otherwise would have been. I'm not sure if the ports are still there underneath the plaques, but I doubt it.
Scroll down to post #5.

I'd guess you have some SDA 1's with the later production (Signature Edition) cabinet, without the plaque, and with SL-1000's. They were likely built during the transition to SDA 1A's and as I said, simply used some SDA 1A serial tags.
edit-
Here's another example of some late production original SDA 1's that weren't ported.
