Hey guys. Thought I'd share my opinion on the 600, It is a huge improvement from my little low profile yamaha sub that came packaged with my yamaha reciever.

I have it in the front to the right of my entertainment center and set to midwall. It sounds great there. My last sub I had to put the sub in the corner to increase its output and it wasn't musical at all compared to this sub. I haven't tryed the 600 in the corner and I don't think I will since it sounds so great in the front. I imagine my drop cieling would fall down if i put it in the corner.

I have the volume at 26 out of the max of 40 and it blends well with my speakers. I have the fxi a6's, csi a6, and 2 sharp tower speakers that are getting replaced next upgrade with rti a floor standers. The overall sound from music and movies is greatly improved by the clear strong bass that just seems to fill a gap I didn't realize was missing before. I've been listening to it all day enjoying the sound.

I'm happy with my purchase and have no regrets about possibly getting a more expensive sub. This one is capable of pounding harder then I'd want it to for my tastes.

Thanks guys, It's adding up to be quite an investment. I'll get 2 more improvements, one from the front speaker upgrade and then a new reciever. Cant wait.

That's so funny you said that because I just got on this thread to read what people have said about the SVS subs. I'm also trying to figure out where I can put something that looks like a standing heavybag in my living room. Not sure how well it would work in a corner hidden behind my TV.
