By now, you've probably heard the claim made by Michael Jackson that he sang back-up on several Doobie Brothers tracks. While no one from the Doobie Brothers has confirmed MJ's claim, you could hear what a combined MJ/Doobie Brothers effort can sound like in the below youtube.com track....

You guys did notice that Michael McDonald finally got co-writing credit on Van Halen's "I'll Wait" from the "1984" remastered CD, right? If you didn't, check the new songwriting credits on that track.
So, MJ may actually have sang on some Doobie Brothers tracks.
