Center Channel Shelf in Apartment building

Hey guys, wasn't sure best place to post this but i guess its a basic hookup question. i recently got a good deal on a CS350LS and it doesn't fit anywhere below my tv on my current stand, so i'm going to hang a shelf on the wall above the tv. the shelf i have is basically the exact size of the speaker, so i was looking for a way to sort of extend the shelf out from the wall a bit to allow for room for the banana plugs in back and such and i got to thinking maybe rubber feet.
then all of the sudden i got really concerned about putting this speaker on a shelf attached to a wall i share with the apartment next door. yipes, and i pretty much watch a movie every night, and i don't turn it down much :P so i don't want the damn wall to turn into a radiator and have voices in their apartment, so now i'm thinking i have to use rubber feet, or something to isolate the shelf some from the wall.
so i'm headed to the depot to find some rubber feet, but i'll pull this up before i pick any thing up, i'm looking for any better suggestions or words of wisdom here. as i don't want to piss off the neighbors any more than i'm sure i already do, but i don't want this heavy **** speaker to come down on my tv. :P
just to clarify right now i'm thinking it would go wall rubber foot, shelf bracket, rubber foot, shelf, rubber foot, speaker. basically on each end of the shelf.

This could be an alternative if you can find the size you need, as far as what you're looking for I bet others can chime in.

yipes! I don't like i'd trust that on the back of my Samsung... Not sure how big the CS350-LS is, but I would not trust a CSi5 on that thing. -
I have an Omnimount for my CSi3 and it works fine. But something the size and weight of a CSi5? I'd probably work in some extra brackets. I think I saw a mod on these forums for the Omni and CSi5 that looked stable.
