Potential Receiver Upgrade/Need Advice!

I need to pick your brains. I'm considering upgrading my current AV receiver. I currently have a Marantz SR9200/140WPC/5.1. I'm running a complete Polk LSI system, LSI15's, LSIC, LSIFX. Recently upgraded my sub to an SVS PC12 NSD. The drag about the Marantz is that I can't set the crossover as it is permanently set to 80hz. I'd like to be able to do that in order to tweak the system more for surround. Now my priorities are different than most. I like the warm 2 channel sound of the Marantz and that is very important to me. Good build quality and finish is very important to me. Having decent WPC, at least 140 or more is important to me. I also do not have the room to add extra amps, so the receiver has got to get it done. Lastly, I have no intentions at this time of going to 7.1. My budget is $2,000 or more depending on how much I like the piece. I was wondering what the sound/build quality is like on the Pioneer SC-05 and 07's. I've also been thinking about the Denon 4308CI or 5308CI receivers. What's the sound quality on them? Any input you can give me would be great. Thanks, DJ

Can't you set the crossover to "Off" on the marantz, and set the crossover frequency on the SVS?

I admit that i'm not first hand familiar with either, so apologize if that's not an option.

This should give you some info on the Pioneer Elites
    ICE Club

With your speakers and budget I think I would be looking more at power house AVRs like, NAD T775 this is refurbished, can be found cheaper used.

Or go all out with this NAD T785

Or maybe you can find a good deal on one of these Rotel 1560

Another 4 ohm capable AVR ADCOM55

Thanks. This is the kind of feedback I'm looking for! I wouldn't have an aversion to the NAD. In fact, I have a Cambridge Audio receiver (pretty drab looking too) paired with the Surroundbar 50" and SVS sub, in another install and absolutely love the match. Guess I've got a case of upgraditis! But that happens with me alot! LOL! DJ
