Ron, this does look pretty good. Had overtones of "The Thing" a lot, given the Antarctic setting. No matter how the film pans out, any movie with the lovely Kate Beckinsale cast is worth a look!:D

I'm supprised the "graphic novel" fans haven't said more about this one. Looks interesting...and yes anything with Kate looks interesting. It opens this coming Friday."Just because youre offended doesnt mean youre right." - Ricky Gervais

"Consistency requires you to be as ignorant today as you were a year ago." - Bernard Berenson -

Agreed, when I first saw it I thought they were going to redo the Thing."They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."
Benjamin Franklin, February 17th, 1775.

Promising flick but an illogical ending trips up this whodunnit. Some cool, gory scenes. Gratuitous shower scene (steam covered nudity) to balance out some male frontal nudity. F/x okay. Folks who actually work in below zero temps will be insulted.

I love anything with Kate Beckinsale in it even if it's not great.
The shower scene was scrumdiddlyumptious.
