Bought this in the FM from SpeedyFE, and was wondering if anyone could point me to where I might be able to find a manual for it. Carver forums? Thanks in advance for your help.:p

There is someone on the Carver forum (I guess it would be the original one?) that sells manuals, IIRC.
I used to have one, did you have a question I might be able to answer?Wristwatch--->Crisco -
I think I can figure most of it out, or just experiment and listen, but I don't know much about the sonic holography settings, and I've read (on here I think) that that takes a little bit of tweaking, so info on that is what I was looking for. thanks"Don't forget to change your politician. I've tried sending to Seeclear and Ricardo but the file is 8.8MB large and some email providers may not be able to handle such a large attachment. Let me know if you get it or don't. If no, we'll figure out something else.

Ricardo, I was just checking out your audio journey and I don't see a Carver C-1 in any of the pics. I'm just curious what you need it for. Very impressive setup by the way. What are your current speakers? That turntable looks beautiful too, and somewhat familiar but I can't quite make it out.SDA-1C (full mods)

Ricardo (Ron) got the C-1 at Polkfest 08. Trunk of the car deal out in the street. Actually, there were a lot of swaps out in the street in front of Al's house.
Kelvin, you shouldn't need a copy anymore because you e-mailed one to yourself. Just trying to save you some legwork in case you forgot. -
George is right; got it from Ben (Strider) at Polkfest, with an M500. Sent them for an overhaul to Rita's and they are playing through the M7's in an improvised set up. Very sweet.
The TT is a Clearaudio Champion. I sold it a couple months ago, so I am right now taking a break from Vinyl. I already miss it, so I am waiting for George to get it together and decide to ship TT's
Oh, and I'm currently running a pair of Gallo reference 3.1's Very happy with them._________________________________________________

I'm using the C-1 with the Carver TFM-25 and my Pro-ject 6.9 with Denon DL-160 (a very nice budget moving coil cart). I had been using phono 1 input but I read that my Denon cartridge prefers 45 db or more gain so I switched the table to phono input 2 and the SDA-1C's came alive. I'm using a cheap Yamaha disc changer for cd right now but even that on the C-1 with the TFM-25 and the SDA's sounds fantastic. Much better than the Pioneer Elite DV-79avi I had been using for cd play. The Yammy was a thrift store find that turned out to be a really nice sounding unit. Very surprising. Anyway I had been using the Carver CT-Seven for pre-amp duties when I first got the SDA's but the C-1 just sounds so much better. Great piece of vintage gear. Oh, and thanks George I was wondering if I needed that manual myself. Glad you cleared that up.SDA-1C (full mods)
