    I heard that she's ok too. She was in a car that was pulled over on the outskirts of town. I didn't hear if it was on the outskirts of SLC or not, but that's kinda odd if she's been there the whole 8 months..........

    Just watched the Police's news conference. She is home now and was found in Sandy, which is about 10 miles south of Salt Lake City.

    I'll be curious to hear why it somehow took 8 or 9 months to find someone that was there in the city the whole time, especially with all the people that have been out looking for her, and also that the person that had her was someone that had done work on the house. Weren't there a few people that they had checked into back 9 months ago and wasn't this guy a part of that group? Very confusing...........

    EDIT: They're not answering questions if they were out of state at any point, so eventually things will come out closer to trial time.......

    This is really something. Can you imagine how elated her parents are? I couldn't believe this when when I heard about them finding her. You gotta be happy for those people. Who wants to "interview" the kidnapper? Any volunteers?

    I just heard one report that said they had been all over the US. None the less it is a great ending for the Smart family. I know how I would feel if it was one of my daughters.

    Today has been unreal Guys!!! I grew up and work in Sandy. Today I was at the Mall for lunch with my brother and as we were headed back to work. We noticed Cop cars all over State Street . As we passed the cars we commented on what Freaks they were talking to. We just thought they were Crazy's causing trouble. One hour latter we hear what is really was. What a shock!!!.
    You have not been able to go any where in SLC with out seeing her picture, she is in all our minds. I also know that she has been in all your minds as well. I went to the Oregon Coast for 2 weeks in Nov. and her picture was up there as well.
    What a great thing to happen for the Smarts. God Bless them.

    Glad to hear it from someone in SLC. They were saying on the news that motorists were honking and carrying on (in the elated sense) when the news broke.

    The good ole' USA needed news like this.
