Lol to each his own. That looks very stupid imo, then again thats just what it is, an opinion. Have you seen those completely stickered "jesus loves you," "war is bad," bobble head-filled cars? Or the hundreds of honda civics/accords and mitsu. eclipses with huge spoilers that scream "I CAN BREAK THE SOUND BARRIER AND LOOK COOL WHILE I DO IT."

If you notice, the people who do this to their cars, also feel the need to put chrome stick-on lettering-telling you what size their rims are. (24", etc.)
    Yeah, I'm impressed.

If you look close at the pic, it's there...right on the front fender, behind the wheel.

That's okay, those people think you're an idiot for spending thousands on audio equipment, so you're even.

That's a generic "you're" above, not specifically any one who has posted to the thread.

My take on it is if that's what they like, more power to them as long as it isn't dangerous or harming anyone.

Theres quite a few of those cars around here. Most of them are huge suspension hacks that shouldnt be allowed on the road.

Think I'm an idiot? I am an idiot for spending thousands of dollars on audio. Hey at least those don't drag the ground like low riders but look like a hot wheel toy though. it would be a boring world if we all liked the same thing but to me spending 4k on rims and tires for a 1k car well its like sticking a 4k system in a 1k car,lol

I'll take my Acura RL any day over an old Chevy Caprice.

What does that have to do with the original topic? An Acura(Honda) would look just as stupid with those rims.

Since I moved to Chicago, I've never seen so many dam retired cop cars and I mean they are EVERYWHERE. +85% of them have the spotlight attached to them too, and you see about 10+ a day in just a half hour drive or so.

I never got into the "Stomper" look (as you so aptly called it) but whatever floats your boat... and I am one of those "stereo is worth more than the car" guys. I built it up from nothing, a piece or two at a time, because good loud music is important to me.

Seriously... "Donk-status" has been going on for well over 5 years now. It is re-donk-ulous. I think the point is really to show that you have so much money, you can waste it. Even though most people into that really don't have that money, they want that status.

My personal taste in cars makes me vomit a little when I see this stuff, BUT....

I'm glad to see people getting creative with automobiles. Many of these might look down right clownish, but the amount of work and craftsmanship is impressive. Yeah, some are done terribly. But some are finished out with some great details.

At least it's not a snorkle-stang (for any aircooled V-dubbers out there).

? Harmon Kardon AVR 55 (dead; replacing with Onkyo TX NR-616)
? Polk RTA 11TL's (FR and FL)
? Polk TSi200's (RR and RL)
    ? Polk CS10 (Center)
    ? Polk PSW-350
    ? Grado SR-60i Headphones
    ? Fii0 E5 headphone amp
    ? iPod touch (8 gig)
    ? iPod Classic (80 gig)
? Mac Mini (as media server)

I would rock the snorkle-stang. Just for the sheer absurdity of it. If you're going to make a car look horrendous, do it WITH STYLE!!
