This is my library room, will be a two channel rig room also. Does this give you a vintage feeling?

These wooden boxes was purchased by my father few years before i was born. That was about 35 years ago. Yep i've living with it whole my life. we moved a lot and we kept it and brought with us.

So tell me your opinion on how you feel when you see the pictures. I would like to put my RT800 or SDA by the tv when i upgrade sometime soon.
If i buy sda, i will have to move tv to other side of wall not the corner :D
I plan to buy vintage chaise chair and maybe tv stand as well. TV stand is from ikea.

Sorry but NO Vintage feeling there.

    Messy May be!

You got to tidy up and put more Vintage Gears There! Put some Stereo with VU Meters and Some Old TT and a Pair of 70s Polk speakers. Then, I'll say yes!

I say you put in a tube tv, one of the older units that looks like a piece of furniture (oak wood all around) and that utilizes a rotary knob as opposed to buttons for your volume/channels. Bunny ears antennae would work well on top of that too....hide the router in an old receiver housing too. Add an old vcr or beta player in the mix and clean off everything on the bookshelves. Go with a few small things at a time that maintain that "vintage" feel :D

Add some simulated wood paneling and olive green or burnt orange wall-to-wall carpeting. Oh, and you might want to add a foldable metal tv tray with the gold legs to hold your remote controls.
One last thing, get rid of that damm large modern flat screen and replace it with a Sylvania with gold and white accents.

With the flat screen it's not just the screen by itself, the TV stand looks pretty modern, not retro at all.

Yep, my parents had one also. I remember the permanent green tint the picture had after 20 years because they removed the tube stations from the stores.

You need an equipment table made out of stacked concrete blocks and a few 2 X 6's. A lava lamp, water pipe, and maybe some old Marantz gear would also help me get that "vintage feeling".
