I'd gladly spend $60 for those. You could do FAR worse.

I'd cautiously offer him $50. Never know, he might just take it. Those are Series 2, though. The last incarnation of the original Monitor series. I'd hit it.

I'd offer him a little less. Something like $40.

The ad title states "2 pair for $60". Look like the last Mon 5 JRs. That means if they are in decent shape and all the drivers/tweeters, it's a no-brainer.

It looks to me that those are actually the Mon 4.6's since they don't have the PR's.
The series 2 5jr+'s had the 6.5" PR added.

I agree that they are 4.6's not the 5JR+'s. I have a pair of 5's serving duty as my HT rears. I picked up my mint pair for $75 thru CL. Very nice sounding speakers that I previously used in my laptop system. I'd buy them if they are in as good of shape as they appear in the photos.

They did...I have a pair,.. but they are not the Series 2's.

Mine are actually almost the size of the 4.6+'s [17" H x 8-1/2" W x 10" D] and mine are [17"h x9"X9"] I did some research trying to figure out what mine actually were, since they have the labels for 5jr's but the sizes differed between the "specified size" of the 5jr+ (don't know the sizes of 'other' 5jrs).
    As I am restoring them.

I have them pulling surround duty and they sound great, alot better than the M30's I had there previously. Much more bass. I had to replace both the tweeters (flippin collage room-mates and loudness buttons) and one MW locked up after a couple of days being put back into use,
