    I have two of them and love them. I do not have any experience with them set up in a cabinet however. They are a great all arund sub, being equally adept at home theater and music. Hopefully someone here can tell you how they work in a cabinet.

    Hey super, welcome to Club Polk!
    You can utilize the SUBWOOFER PREOUT on the rear of your receiver and run a subwoofer/rca cable to the rear of your subwoofer's LFE input. If your receiver doesn't have a subwoofer out, then use a set of preamp outputs and run that to the line in rca on your sub. You can also run speaker wire from your receiver to the speaker terminals on your sub, and then run more wire from the speaker terminal OUT to your speakers. Keep in mind only to use one of these methods.

    How much did you pay, am planning one either a dsw pro 500 or micropro 2000, but if there is a deal on MP4000 may switch over my decision.:D

    MP1000 = MP2000 in terms of performance.

    Polk's ebay store had one for buy now $349.

    Someone bid on it which kills the 'buy now' option....
