Personally I have no experience with this program but my cousin used it. Not sure how long exactly (since this was a few years ago) but I had taken 2years of Japanese in highschool and my cousin was able to hold a conversation with me after a few weeks of using it. Its kind of hard to determine the efficiency of its methods comparing it to a highschool course but I guess it worked out pretty well for him. If you need some help regarding spanish, just ask me! Yeah I sprechen zie espanol a bit too. I work in a restaurant so I kinda have to. As far as rosetta goes, i've heard that pimsleur is better, but they both work. If you'd like a copy of either just let me know. No charge, just a thanks for letting me try out your cables type of thing."They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

I have the Paul Pimsleur French DVDs and I was able to revive my French speaking skills from high school (many years ago) fairly easily. I don't know much about Rosetta Stone."Just because youre offended doesnt mean youre right." - Ricky Gervais

Good information guys and thanks. I knew I'd have my question answered when I asked on the forum.

Really good program from my experience. We have it for Spanish, and it worked well for that. Since I've been taking Spanish classes at school, I haven't used it very much, so I never got into it far enough to find out how it handles grammar. But the vocabulary part works very well.George Grand wrote: »
