Salvation
Scored a nice pair of Black RT1000i's today from the local Salvation Army warehouse for $100.00 US. I have never heard these before and am looking forward to hooking them up and giving them a test drive.
While I was there, I asked if I could see what else they had and found a huge cage full of stuff. Amps (Vintage Kenwood), pre-amps (vintage Hafler), turntables (Numark and Technics), speakers (all different types including AR, Boston Acoustics, Warfdale and a ton of crap like Bose and other no name, no good ****).
I have a list of model numbers to look up and see what I might want to pick up.
It was a fun day! Picked up a great pair of Polks and may have found a new source for some good used gear.
I'll post some pics when I get the 1000's set up.
