I have been searching out "deals" on amps and found one of these locally for 200.00. Per Parasounds specs on their web site:
HCA-806A 6/5/4 MULTI CHANNEL AMPLIFIER. Cascoded Class A input stages with matched JFET pairs, high-bias Class A/AB operation and hand-picked complementary transistors place this multi-channel power amplifier in a world class league. 80 watts per channel at 8 Ω, 120 watts at 4 Ω, 30 amps peak current per channel, Four bridgeable channels, each pair bridges to 240 watts, Input/looping switches for multi-zone stereo.
I am running RTiA9s and think this would drive them well, using my SC-05 AVR's pre-outs and bridge the channels on the AMP.
Although this is only 200.00, someone push me over the edge or talk me out of it, as this would be my first amp purchase...
