dumb question

Ok I have a question that I think I already have the answer to but I thought I would ask you guys. I just got a pair of 2.3 tl's and after I hooked them up I really have no bass at all, just wondering do I need to go into the processor and turn the subwoofer off? Or is there something else I need to do? It makes sense to me to turn it off, but Im not 100% on that so a little help would be great.
Best regards
Mark

What exactly are you running them off of? Also did you do the seal test, applying pressure to the bass radiator while watching the mid bass drivers for excursion to ensure a seal? Could be several things, maybe even the settings/cut off freq. to your speakers from your pre/pro.Truck setup

If you are running a Home Theater Stereo with a sub currently hooked up, then odds are very high it is not sending the lower Frequency to your speakers. Go into the speaker set-up on the stereo and make sure two things:
1) The sub is indeed switched off
2) Your 2.3tl's are set-up for Full Range. Sometimes even with the sub turned off, the EQ is still cutting off the lower frequency because the sub was installed...you will just need to switch it back.
I hope that helps out a little! -
*sometimes receivers refer to Full Range as Large. so if you are having trouble finding full range, look for a small / large setting set to LARGE and enjoy.________________________________
