Remote Control for Windows XP

Running into a problem that I am having a hard time finding the solution.
I have my laptop hooked up to my computer to play music. My laptop is a 4 year old Dell running Windows XP. I am wanting to find a remote control that will be able to control either Winamp or Windows Media Player off of my laptop.
I am having a hard time finding this solution due to running Windows XP. I don't know where to look or what to look for. I glanced at getting a Bluetooth USB Adapter and getting a bluetooth remote control, but I don't really know what I am doing.
Please help!
Edit: One thing I found was a streamzap. http://www.streamzap.com/
Still needing opinions and advice!

I assume you mean you have your laptop hooked up to your TV (Display), right. The remote you linked to just converts IR commands into mouse movements and clicks so that should work fine. It's gonna take a little getting used to because you're substituting a L/R/U/D keypad for mouse gestures but I see no reason it wouldn't work just fine. It seems like a fair price for being able to use your laptop as a music, movie, and Internet radio player. Let us know how it works out (if you get it). I would think a lot of people with a spare laptop laying around would have a use for it.Sony 60'' SXRD 1080p

Shicks18, I did a little snooping around and there are a few other remotes that get better reviews (and are cheaper). I was a little disturbed by some of the reviews of the one in your link, and the fact that the most recent post on their website was 2007. Here's a link to another one that does not require software or drivers so it should work with any application.
