It was one year ago today my son's mother died very unexpectedly. I remember well the huge outpouring of support I received from some very good people here. Thanks for the shelter from the storm. You all know who you are.

Johnny is doing very well and with counselling and support from family and friends we have built a new and exciting life together. He has accepted what happened and moved forward but never forgetting her. He's a brave young man who by the way turns 14 tomorrow.

my prayers with you and your son... may he find the strength he will need to become the man his mother knew he can be, and comfort in knowing you will be there always for him.

Very happy to hear your son is adjusting, and learning to cope with this tragic loss. Kudos to YOU, as a caring and loving father who is there for him. This is a great "feel good" story, and i wish the best for both of you. Happy B-day wishes to your son also.:)

I can't imagine what your family has gone through. I honestly don't know what to say.
The best I can do right now with a tear in my eye is, God Bless you and your family and try to keep the faith. It seems as you are and I am sure it's not easy.
