I posted back in February for help regarding in wall speakers for my home sportsbar which is now complete !
I installed a pair of Polk LC65FXs and a Boston Acoustic in wall sub (VRiSUB82) powered by an Onkio SR806 I am beyond pleased, this setup kicks serious butt. I am a demanding sound person (ha who isnt right?).
Anyway, the LC65FXs have a phase button that permits you to use them as surround speakers or full range stereo speakers so the application worked well. I built a box in the wall for the sub and ported it to my basement Ill never be able to say enough about the Boston sub. After I cut out for the LC65FXs I stuffed a lot of insulation into the wall cavity these speakers deliver a tight clear sound that is overly impressive. I cant recall any longer, I think they were rather expensive but clearly worth it. I am going to attempt to attach some pictures. I really wanted to express my gratitude to this forum and the members who helped me along the way. This was a fun project I gutted the room, ripped out a closet and floor and built it all from scratch .at the end of the day I am very pleased with it all. Now all I need to do is decorate the wall with some sports memorabilia and I am all set for Football !! thank you !!

Welcome back Ghost, haven't heard from you in awhile, now I see why, lol. Looks like you did a pretty snazzy job on the speeks. RT1 and hearingimpared are a couple of stand up guys, glad they were able to help you along. Excellent work and enjoy your new setup.

Hi Jeff -
This was a weekend project and with two young kids it was more like a 5 hour a week or every other week project. The house was getting very dusty since this is built on my first floor. I joined several forums to get my through it too Polk, wood working, flooring and painting .I am a fan of education so I am not afraid to try something new and this was all new to me ;-)
My wife and I have started to decorate the room I am a die hard 49ers fan, this room will mostly be 49ers but all teams will be represented. Everything I own is autographed and I have been collecting for 15 years or so. Here is a picture of my first wall I hung pictures and jerseys so far. I need to build shelving for the helmets, footballs, and misc memorabilia that will augment the pictures. Thanks again ~!!
Oh...the current challenge is hanging everything with double hooks so the Polk's don't shake it all crooked (or off !) lol -
Wow, some nice work for your first try. I would have ended up with a big hole in the wall and a new picture to hang in front of it, lol. Gotta get some NY Giants gear up on that wall, lol. I got a Plaxico Burress jersey I won't be needing anymore, lol. ;-)

I have a signed YA Tittle – the famous agony of defeat picture. He was a Giant at the time, so I have the Giants covered. KC and Oakland are represented by Montana and Rice (see how I cheat to cover the “other teams” ) lol
I have a tee-shirt that reads “Philadelphia eagles _____” it’s hung near the door with a sharpie on it for all visitors to sign – anything they want to say, so they will plug their team there. I live in PA, so its sort of tough being a niner fan here – so you can understand the animosity I have toward the eggless.
