    Russ,

Look at the RS250, RS550, RS750 and the RSC200. All have the Vifa thumbnail pics........

    Duh, thanks Brett.

Too bad they didn't upgrade that Chinese mid-bass also. I've heard the original series, nothing real exciting.

Phuz, that's it, I'm leaving the forum. (for a nap at least)

    Cheers,
    Russ

They're rocket loud speakers and they have a cult following (like us) that's growing.

    Personally i don't the Rocket design/style, but that's my 2cents.

Seize the day......I'm agreeing with Gonzo....;)

I do like the look of that wood though actually.......I also like the fact that the drivers aren't just basic black. I kinda dig the blue drivers that they've been using, but would welcome something different too.......

I personally don't like that wood in particular, but do agree to the whole idea that Polk needs to do something a little flashier. I am ticked that the R series does not come in cherry anymore. I got the R40's in cherry, and I had the choice of black. I wish I could complete my system with the cherry veneer. So, although I don't like that finish, something else would be nice. I also like the blue drivers they are using right now too. I think a red driver would be cool. Maybe match the red in the polk logo. Just an idea. I hope people from Polk are reading these and our previous posts.

its all in the crossover design, to make the tweeters work good with the meds and woofers, not the ring tweeter or the wood design. but i have never head these speakers. so i cant say much
    . rt-7 mains
    rt-20p surounds
    cs-400i front center
    cs-350 ls rear center
    2 energy take 5, efects
    2- psw-650 , subs
    1- 15" audiosource sub

lets all go to the next ces.
