SDA 2B vs SDA 1C

I have a pair of SDA 2B's.. and I am curious if the SDA 1C's are much better or different than my current 2B's. Anyone with experience with both models?

Should I just keep my 2B's or seriously consider moving to the 1C's?

I can't decide what to do.

    I've got them both with original crossover and RDOs. The 1Cs are more profound, a little deeper bass and more detailed in the lower midrange. The 2Bs sound a little wider in my room, the 1Cs more laid back and deeper. I prefer the 1Cs, but I love them both.

    Combo rig:

    Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
    PB13Ultra RO
    BW Silvers
    Oppo BDP-83SE

    On the other hand I know at least one Polkie that upgraded his 2B's to TL's and sold his 1C's.

    I have them both in very modest rigs, but man I really love them both.

    Danger boy, I would get the 1C's AND keep the 2B's. That way you will have no regrets!

    I'd take 2B TL's over 1C's/SRS2's.

    2B TL's over Stock 1C's even with the RDO's. I never heard a pair of upgraded 1C's so I can't comment

    Stock 1C's over Stock 2B's.

    The TL mod and RDO 198 just sound better or the they just sound right.
    I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

    You guys with the TL mod that have compared them to 1Cs...please comment on the differences.

    Out of curiosity...could the 1C's be modified to use the RD0-198's? I know there are two versions, one with a single board XO and one with a dual board XO. If it is possible to TL them, which of the two XO versions would be better suited for the mods?
