I have now had this in action for 45 days or so since receiving it.

And the review so far it ... AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL!!
For the last two summers going outside and standing around for just five minutes with no anti-mosquito coating (and no anti-mosquito tactics like moving about, swatting, etc) could easily result in 5-10 mosquito bites.
So far this summer it's been going out throughout the day finding one or two errant mosquitoes flying about, with an easy kill on one of them.
Bites have consistently been down to one or two every couple days, less than that if you avoid the "early morning/sunset" high mosquito times.
This thing is frickin' awesome. Not having to constantly squirt sticky crap all over yourself in the morning and refreshing it every couple hours is so worth spending $400 on this thing. It runs through a propane tank ($20) every three weeks or so.
I would buy another in a heart beat.
Spectacular.
Best. Buy. Ever.

Very nice wizzy, I live in your neck of the woods and the skeeters are killin' me. Seems like they only choose to bite me out of a crowd of people!
OFF or CUTTER needs to make some soap that smells good and repels those critters. -
I have often contemplated getting one of those although they were slightly different models.......... good to know that they do work---little rich for my blood at this time but will certainly consider one in the near future.....guess I'll have to stay with the darn lotions & sprays
If I might ask, does the unit capture any other bugs other than skeeters ?? I am just wondering if it also attracts the "good" bugs.
Mosquitoes are a pain in the royal **** where I live this year but have alot of bamboo & other "shrubbery" in the back yard. Gives them alot of cover.
Thanks for your review -
Does it work with black flies? The black flies have been insane this year from all the rain. Very few skeeters but tons of black flies. We are considering getting netting to wear so they couldn't bother us.

My brother in law has one. Any it works well. If everyone in your neighborhood has one, they virtually eliminate seeters. Have you ever seen a misquito at Disney World? They use these, and lots of them.Carl

I looked at various manufacturers, and of all of them the skeetervac (Blue Rhino, they sell propane everywhere) seemed the most stable.
The only extra bugs I notice in any quantity are flies. The sticky paper part of the trap seems to get covered with flies pretty quick, but I'm not complaining about them.
