I am picking up a pair of 2.3TL tomorrow. How do I know if they are 2.3 or 2.3TL?

Here is the link to the speakers:

Thanks.

Possibly the serial ## may identify these as TL's.

Unless the seller replaced all 6 tweeters, removal of a tweeter or two will show the model number and a date. tl's would have SL3000 tweeters. SL 3000 also has a felt ring around the periphery of the dome.

There may be more ways to tell.....I'm sure other members will add to this.

Those are 2.3tl's. You can tell by the SL3000 tweeters. That's a great deal on some nice looking speakers.

The fact that the stereo drivers are on the inside row and that those are SL3000 tweeters would indicate they are SDA SRS 2.3TL's. Very nice speakers, in fact many prefer them to the 1.2TL's.

Thanks very much for everyone's helps. I wanted to reply earlier but there was some health problem with my father in law.
I had an appointment with the seller to pick up the speakers on Saturday morning. Since the seller was only several minutes from my parents in law, my wife wanted to go along so we can go to visit her parents and to see how her father was doing because he had have shingle a week before. After picking up the speakers, we stopped by my parents in law and my father in law was greeting us at the door. He told us his shingle was much better, but his heartbeats seems abnormal (from 126 to 140). I verified his machine on me and the machine works fine. We then called my sister in law, a doctor, and she told us to take him to ER. After several hours in the ER and after the normal ER routines of blood tests, EKG, and X-rays, the ER decided to keep him over night so they can do more blood tests. They could not find any wrong with him so they released him on Sunday. They think that his abnormal heartbeats were due to the combination of the shingle and his other medications. Thanks God that he is OK.
Back to the speakers, they are from the original owner and are in mint conditions. He even had the original brochure and all the screws (unused) for attaching the speakers to the wall. Since the owner is in the millitary and has been moving around every three to five years, he knows how to pack these speakers himself. He showed me to pack these speakers into the boxes and helped to load them into my van. It was a pleasure experience with a Polkaudio owner.
