forgot to say Welcome to club Polk first.

I shouldn't have remarked on your marriages' financial relationship.

My wife says she agrees with you that if your wife is alowing you 300 then by all means spend it all.
I'm a little different , I'm thrifty or whatever. I'd buy the 150.00 player maybe and take my wife shopping for candles or a few dinners out on my savings.

+1, the PS3 is IMHO the best bang for the buck when it comes to Blu-Ray players. All the extras you get along with having one the fastest load times of any Blu-Ray player on the market. Plays all the latest codecs, and if you can get lucky and pick up a used one you may be able to get the backwards compatiable/SACD models like I have. Even if the price doesn't drop, still the best bang for the buck IMO. Welcome to the Club.

Could you tell me more about the sacd compatibility ie .. how does one check to make sure it has it etc....

This knowledge would be of great value when buying used from pawn shops etc...

All I know is I've been enjoying the hell out of my Pioneer BDP-51FD that I snagged for right around $125 B.N.I.B. Right now I'm listening to the Eagles in 2-channel to my SC-07 and I've been floored by it's performance. Yeah, people **** it's slow blah, blah, blah but for the money, don't see where you can go wrong if you can still find one.

Wall bracket on the left sends HDMI and Component to the projector, wall bracket on the right are sends signal to all the surround speakers.

You must have paid a pretty penny to have that done grim

How would all the wires go through the studs if they are all in place evey 12 to 16 inches behind the sheetrocked wall?

The only thing it really cost me was time, did the whole build myself minus the electrical, had my cousin come in and wire it for me. Here is the build thread which pretty much covers everything I did with pics. http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25976&highlight=grimster74
