They did "25 Or 6 To 4"
As good as the original version, this version they did on "Conan" sounds amazingly good.
Anyone else saw this?

I saw it and was blown away! I loved the way that Conan's horn section joined the band and how they were swaying and rocking along to the music as they played.

Maybe Peter Cetera leaving Chicago was a good idea for the band?

Terry Kath leaving=bad
Peter Cetera leaving=good -

Vocally Bill Champlin was the replacement for Terry Kath. The current bass player sings the high stuff like Cetera did. I always thought that Alan DeCarlo, who was the smoking guitarist for the band Madura, also produced by James William Guercio on Columbia records, should have been Kath's original replacement. He even sang in the same gravelly style. DeCarlo's guitar style was much like Kath's as well. I think Champlin was way in the back playing keyboards on the Conan show. I don't think he was ever on camera.
