Title says it all. Took my wife to Brookfield Zoo today to check it out, it was pretty fun actually. Anyway if you're not far from the Chicago area, I definitely recommend going, but if you're on the west coast then I'd HIGHLY recommend checking out the San Diego Zoo. Thought I'd share with the forum pics I took and last but not least a video of a couple gorillas. ENJOY!

Oh and the whole bar thing yesterday, the girl who stayed the night was a classmate of my wifes. We had met her at the bar (very cute girl might I add) and well it was fun for all of us :D

Note: S.Polky I apologize for exposing your way of life on film and posting it on youtube, but I thought it was hilarious :D

I've cut the size down on the pics to make them fit, also I've got alot more but just wanted to post the ones I liked. If any of you guys want the full size/quality version let me know, its 10 mega pixel and taken on my Samsung NV11.

Heres the youtube video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NOGuj6szjc

A father and his small son were standing in front of the tiger's cage at the zoo.

Father was explaining how ferocious and strong tigers are and junior was taking it all in with a serious expression.

Dad," the boy said finally, "if the tiger got out of his cage and ate you up ..."

"Yes, son?" the father said expectantly.

"What bus should I take home?" the boy finished.

Theyve also got this Dinosaurs-alive! thing, where they have these animatronic dinosaurs that are life-sized. It cost 5 bucks per person to get in (which didnt matter since I got in free anyway). Some might not like it considering its very short but it's great for kids. Heres one with me in it SNV11347.jpg

I haven't been to the Milwaukee county zoo, but I've been to the San Diego Zoo countless times and been told its one of the best if not best zoo in the US. Just word of mouth, not anything set in stone. :D

I know you were as I was too.
I spent a few real young years living in the north/west subs of Chicago actually Plum Grove Estates. Then thru the 90's in Wisconsin.

I gotta say when I had responsibility for Ill I hated it except Chicago, a great city. Traffic is horrible even worse than NJ.

Yea, its been a huge wake up call driving around here. I prefer to walk everywhere I go but it sucks when youre at a handicap and want to enjoy the town. That and all the potholes that inhabit the city.

Those bears bear a striking resemblance to Big Lou before he shaves for the Belly Buck event.
