I have a chance to get some SDA 1's for $250 tomorrow but I am trying to find a pic of them.

Do they look like the 1B's or 1C's?

He is the original owner, Has the box's, Cable and all.

Says they are in mint shape.

He said these are the ones with the wood caps top and bottom, so I am guessing these look like the 1C's but with SL1000 tweeters.

He seems to know only so much about the inards. Said he bought them in 85

If his camera only worked, He is willing to drive them up here from the springs about an hour and a half drive.

Yep. Sounds like the early ones. But they'll still have the horizontal tweets.
Check 'em out and give 'em a spin.
Be prepared for a deep and wide sound stage. In the sweet spot I hear instuments BEHIND me. Lot of people ask if I have some surrounds in back!

I have a pair of SDA-1As I just picked up. Why do some A's have the Sl2000 and others have the chrome "peerless" style tweeters. Was one earlier / one an upgrade?
