:(
Late last week we had to put down our cat, Honey Bear. She came home with my son from college six years ago. She immediately was a hit with the family. My son is off living on his own, but Honey Bear stayed with us. She never bothered a speaker. She could leap onto the top of my big SDA's when I was listening. Or, she would sit beside me on the couch to be near me when I was listening. We all miss her, my daughter Shannon (12 years old) took Honey Bear's passing very hard. My son who is 30, was just as tearfull.

Here are a couple of photo's of "The Bear", RIP.

    RIP

The peace and joy you give me, no words can ever tell,
The lessons that you teach me, in my heart will always dwell,
Your purrs bring forth divinity, to comfort, heal and bless,
Wondrous being, praise to you for your gracious loveliness.

My condolences. It's hard losing a pet. We recently had to put down our 16 yr old terrier mix. Sometimes the best thing is to replace them as soon as possible. In our case, we had another young dog already. Everyone will become attached to the new pet, and it likely won't take long.

    Sorry for your loss.

A cat who dosen't touch our speaker grills is a blessing from above.

I have one now and she is quite a character too.

She looked like a cool cat, sorry.

Lost a few pets and it's never easy, probably why I subconsciously don't want anymore pets.

Sorry for your loss Carl, I know its a tough thing.

I was saddened when you told me about this on the landline the other day Carl. Again, my condolences to you and your family.

I also remembered the bond I had formed with Honey Bear when you put me up for the night in the spare room last year. You said if I left the bedroom door open, Honey Bear might join me, and she did. She snuggled against me and rubbed her head on my hand so I started scratching her head. I petted her for a bit, and stopped as I was dozing off. Honey Bear gave me a firm nip on the fingers to let me know I wasn’t finished yet, and continued doing that every time I stopped. That went on for quite a while until either she quit or I was too tired to care. I'll always remember that.

Sorry to hear. My cat lived with me for over 20 years, ts hard. Mine used to cuddle up in front of the PR of my 1.2's when I played them really hard. He seemed to like Michael Jackson music the most.
