Hey i have been pondering over different brands and types of subwoofers and i have pretty much narrowed it down to powerbass. I started with alpine type x and decided it probably wasn't going to be that great for the money. another option i was considering was diamond D3 or some of their tbx's. (may still be an option)
ok so what i really want to know if is if powerbass is worth getting. I want something that will last a long long time and has very good SQ but at the same time can get loud and bump. I have came across the 3xl and the 2xl and i'm not sure what is better.
here are the 2xl specs...

and the 3xl's...

I want to know based off of personal EXPERIENCE and also knowledge.
also i was wondering about motor structures in subs. is it better to have high oz or not?
Ok thanks let me know soon i need some subs in my 92 mercedes 190E. 2.6:)

killerb, welcome to cp. I'm not much help with car audio but if you are looking for quick help I suggest posting this in the "On the Move" section down lower on the main forum page. It is dedicated to the car applications and you will get better results.
Good luck
