So I got these speakers for $100 off craigslist. They sound pretty good, but I think the room muddles much of the composition... I could use some critique there. Anyways, was it a good deal, and is this tweet no good? It seems to work fine...

I think it sounds pretty good, but both speakers feel a little overwhelmed when too many instruments are playing. It's all being played through a Yamaha CR-640

If they sound find, I would not worry about it.

Looks fine to me.
Windex will work great for cleaning that crud off of the drivers.
One bit of advice...you might want to reduce that toe in a little bit. Those are at a pretty sharp angle.The nirvana inducer-
