I just got a new phone Thursday (can you guess what?), and I love it. It's a nice upgrade over my old Razr. I like my old phone, but I was not fond of the 20min battery life.

At any rate, I have a picture that I took with my phone and saved it to my phone. Now I want to transfer it to my memory card so I can put it on my computer. Is there a way to transfer from phone to memory card?

(BTW, I have since set it to save to the card by default.)

Thanks!

Did you install the software? I believe the phone you have needs the software to recognize the pics, even if it's on a memory card.

I did install the drivers that came on the disc, and when I access the phone through my PC I can see all the pictures that are already on the card, but what's on just the phone isn't showing up. However, it told me I should restart before it will take full affect, so perhaps the pics on the phone's internal memory will show up when I reboot. I just haven't done that yet.

I would try restarting the computer first.

I just restarted and tried again, and I still can't access any of the pictures that are on the phone's internal memory.

If you have Verizon as your service provider and you have signed up for an on-line "My Verizon" account you can send it to your photo book and access the pics in your Verizon on-line account and move them anywhere. No need for software or cords, etc.

Oh wow, that's really cool. Me and my family have been Alltel, but we've just switched to Verizon, not that we had much of a choice in the matter. I, for one, am happy for the change.

I have "My Verizon" access on my phone, but we don't have any kind of data access on our phone plan, so I'm not sure if I can use that. Anyways, I'm just now registering on Verizon's website, so perhaps I can find out some more information there.

    Thanks!

When you send pics to your "photobook" in your My Verizon Account I do believe it's just like sending a text. So if you have a limited text plan realize each photo will count as 1 text ( I think). If you don;t have texting not sure if you can still do it.

I'd also highly recommend "my backup" as this feature (which is free with on-line account access) backs up up all your numbers daily so if you loose your phone or it gets damaged you can still have access to all your data (not pics) from your My Verizon" account.

I know a lot of my friends the only place they have that info is in their cell phone and if they lost it or it got damaged they'd be screwed.

That is VERY cool! We're all sharing a plan, and I think Mom's listed as the owner, so I'll have her sign in and see if we can get that worked out so we don't have to pay the $1.99/month (there's a monthly charge unless the "Account Owner" selects to add it).

And I just uploaded that one picture to my online album. Seems like it's harder than necessary just to get it on my card, but at least I can now.

    Thank you!!

AB, shop around for an adaptor for your ph. I've got a Motola Tundra which has a micro-USB charging port- I transfer everything thru there.
That way I don't have to pay the xtra $30/ month to AT&T.
Or can you get a memory card w/ SD adaptor? I can't remember if Verizon is propietary?
I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE!

the dare charger has a usb cable that comes apart from the plug. if you have a picture in your phone and wanna move it to the card select the picture, hit the little menu button in the bottom right corner of the screen and select move.

I'm not sure why, but "Move" is not an option for photos or videos on my phone. It's just not listed there in that little menu, which is very annoying.

It doesn't matter if the picture/video is on the phone or the card, "Move" still doesn't show up as an option.
