So I've been trying to set up my speakers using Audyssey on my Denon AVR988. Going by instructions listed in the AVS forums, I'm having a trouble understanding how to set up the Crossovers.

I have them as listed RTI A7 = 80hz, RTI A3 40hz, CSI A6 60hz, SVS SB12 sub =125hz. I'm a bit confused and know I messed this up totally. I'm getting frustrated with this (all week long) and any suggestion/help would be greatly appreciated. :(:(:(

I'm not going to give you a ton of help. I saw your AVS thread. Crossovers are about blending the sub with your mains and having it be seamless. The fact that you have reflections due to room shape probably has a more profound effect on the frequencies above the LFE range. First suggestion, talk to Ed Mullen about the best method for obtaining a seamless blend between your mains and the sub. Second, I'm not a big fan of setting the LFE band above 80hz. Yes, there's information up there, but it eats up sub amp headroom and your mains can cover it if running large. I'd cut you A7s no higher than 60hz, but would probably run them large if you've got an amp.

The biggest issue is what are you missing? Describe the problem and be specific.

Thanks Ron. It's not that I'm really missing anything, more so, making sure I have the crossovers right on them. I cant help the walls, especially being in such a small space.
