Well, perhaps some veterans have experience in dealing with these guys, but since I just ordered my first tubes I thought I should give them the props that I believe are due.
I just wanted to get some basic and very cheap backup tubes. These should be priced at $10 but saw that the price where I bought the first one had been raised to $22:eek:. I found them on sall for $5.95 (reg. 7.95) at Tube Depot. Moreover they have a flat shipping rate of 3.95 for FedExpress (2-3 day service)...so reasonable which stayed in effect even when I had 3 tubes in my shopping cart.
In addition, their staff maintained excellent (and friendly) communication with me at each step and though I just placed the order at noon PST today, my order has already shipped out.
Maybe the others are very good as well, but its always great to have a good customer service experience.

I have also had a good experience with them when I purchased tubes in the past....
I also have used www.thetubestore.com in the past, without any problems
I (hopefully one day soon) am going to retube my V12 with some completely different tube types (just to try something different), and will most likely use one or both of these sites when I do....Cary SLP-98L F1 DC Pre Amp (Jag Blue)
