Life can deal you sacrifices like this from time to time, kinda like when you find yourself two steppin with a broken leg and a knife in your eye.

Picked up my 1.2tl's in Darmstadt, Germany back in 91' right off the floor. What better way to stifle the little voices in your head you bring back from
the litterbox than to shell all your combat pay on a pair of these monoliths.

(Better to bring home little voices than little critters at the time as I doubt I would still have the hookers to show for it after all these years like I
do my Polks.)

These babies have traveled with me for over 18 years now and we're still not sure how the hell we ended up here in Reno.

Enough history lessons and BS'n.

My decision to part with them will be left aside.

These are the SRS 1.2tl Signature.

Pics would certainly accompany this post but they are currently (and properly) cased in storage. The decision to bring them out for photos or personal viewing will be dependent upon credible interest and communication with someone.

Their condition for 18 years can be considered as normal, if not better than normal. Easily so by comparison to what's threadin out of Ph..n.x....(although
certainly worth the price and project). The mahogany cabinet work has been dressed regularly but never varnished. No evidence of using the tops as a cutting board to fillet trout is apparent, with only a few pressure blemishes between both cabinets. All grill cloth is origianal. Fading and dullness are apparent. Don't expect much play if you go out in an 18 year old T shirt either. One plastic grill retainer button is missing, right channel.

One popped driver, right channel. All other drivers, tweets and woofs are good to go. Crossovers good. No mods or replacements. Although I was planning to mod up in the future. In fact it would be great to find a buyer wishing to perform and keep me updated of any restoration, tweeks or mods and of course experience the final outcome. Although new I find Club Polk and the caliber of it's members, Greenhorn to Shaman alike, to be the authority and figure this is the place to find such a buyer.

I have the bass braces, spikes and interconnect cable.

After comparing what (and rapidly limited) 1.2tl's are fetching, I plan to offer at around $2500. Too high? Comment me and I will get the photos for further
determination. Negotiable? Always. Successfully negotiable? Maybe. Are you capable and planning to mod? Following mods to these speakers are worth kick back.

Additionally, I have a cousin with Viking Van Lines here in Nevada with enough weight to properly ship these speakers per your direction anywhere
continental at more than agreeable terms. Of course at your cost. Could've been free but he still thnks I owe him for blind date gone bad back in the 80's.

Thanks for checkin me out. Comments or advice are appreciated. Contact info is available on this site if you are interested in purchase.

    Welcome to Club Polk.:)

Just so you know, you're required to have 25 posts here to sell gear, as per forum rules.

That said, sounds like you've had an interesting history with these speakers.

Stick around and get your post count up, and I'm sure you could find an interested buyer here.

FWIW, your $2500 asking price is a bit on the high side IMO. They're worth that to some people...but especially with the economy right now, you'd have some trouble selling them at that price. There have been several instances recently where people have snagged 1.2TL's for $800-1200. Those are some smoking hot deals though.
