close on the house, i have never hooked up my receiver and speakers to my HDTV ever, my apt isnt' big enough and i finally get to hook up all my stuff together, my csi a6 and fxi a6's are in the mail along with my outdoor speakers, going to be a great couple of weeks setting stuff up, pics coming soon

    i've never been able to even crank them up in my apt, for fear of neighbors, its going to be a bloodbath

    I just moved into my first house 6 months ago, I used to crank it up like crazy, the people below me hated my guts but they left me alone because i think they were illegal!!!! LOL!!!!

    congrats!! Nothing like "owning" your own place...of course, you won't really own it for a number of years unless you pay cash, but still it's great to say it's yours and not line the landlord's pocket for a change. Hope you are taking advantage of the tax credit!
    This reminds me of how my wife makes fun of me whenever we looked at a new place to live.....I would always determine if the living room was suitable for the sound system before I would get serious about the place!

    yea, that was one of the hardest parts about finding a home was finding a room that would be suitable for HT, we got lucky with this one, it has a perfect area for all my stuff, with the tax credit i'm going to upgrade my 46inch tv to a 58

    58!! Hell, I'm still viewing a 32" crt type!!...still, I love watching dvd's and almost never go to the movie theater anymore.
    I always found moving to a new place like a new adventure when you were a kid...everyday is fun, well after you unpack!
