Need an avr

Well heres the deal. A couple of my frineds are getting married in a couple of weeks and I was talking to one of them today and he told me that his avr took a crap on him, so I thought what a perfect wedding gift since they both love watching movies and without surround its just not the same. I do have somewhat of a budget in mind probably not over 200 and even at that I'm still not sure but that should get me started anyway. So if anyone out there has a spare avr just sitting around collecting dust it would be great it they would help me get a great gift that they will use everyday and remember that at least one of there wedding gifts didn't just get thrown in the closet or regifted at xmas time.:D

What brand did they have before? did they like it? do they want a two zone model maybe? How about HDMI..

They had a denon before and had no complaints until now. I don't really think that they are up on the HDMI aspect of things, hes more into cars then anything they just like to have the surround for movies and video games every now and then. Thanks for the comments guys I'll try looking on the site and see what I can come up with.
