LSI-15 crossover

I'm looking for a pair of LSI-15 crossovers either stock or modded, and possibly someone who is willing to upgrade my existing crossovers.

I do have one extra crossover to use when I upgrade my 15's, but I am months away from the upgrade.

If you would like, I would be glad to ship it to you, if you will ship back the extra stock one when you are done with your upgrades. (if you think the upgrades will be done in the next few months or so).

What type of upgrades are you planning for the LSI-15's?

I have been switching back and forth for awhile on what upgrades to do. Right now though - this is the top contender.

discount is based on a 20% discount that they are currently having, but I will have to make the next sale due to a lack of funds currently....

Have you ever heard a pair of modded 15's?
I'm hoping the modification will help to open up the midrange.

I have not, but people whose opinion I trust have and thought it sounded great. I have already modded my LSiC and LSi7's so I do have some idea of what to expect.

(I have links to those mod threads in my sig)

Right now, the 15's have become the weak link in my system and I can hear it in many movies. (as things pan to the front channel, they get less distinct sounding)

Also I should have mentioned.... ben62670 (a club polk member) does mod crossovers for people for a good price and from what I have seen and heard, the quality of his mods are first rate.

You might want to drop him a PM asking about modding the LSi15 crossovers. (you would remove the crossover, ship it to him, he mods and ships back, you install the crossover again. - you don't have to ship the whole speaker) If you do decide to mod it on your own, I am sure you would get plenty of help from Ben and many other club polk members if you run into questions or problems......

He has already done at least one (possibly more) LSi15 crossover mods so he would also be able to answer your questions first hand.
