Good beach Location? (Tampa bay area)

Which is good beach location around tampa? Clearwater or St .petersburg? Am thinking about taking family to the beach tomorrow. How about Port Richey area? Any suggestion would be appreciated...

    Go up to Siesta key, off the coast of sarasota. Consistantly voted top 10 beaches of the world.

    Gotta love those Florida beaches. Spent two years around Pensacola when I was in the Navy back in the 70's.

    Been in that area alot,golfing that is,so beach info isn't my bag,but if you and the wife want a good meal,the Lobster pot, has lobster from all over the world,a good wine list,should suffice,also Shula's is one of my favs too.Aside from eats,the only other advice I can offer is on strip clubs.Not sure the wife would appreciate that.:D

    Honey Moon Island It's straight west on Hillsboro Ave. It's a State Park so there is a entrance fee.

    Indian Rocks? used to got there in the 50's & 60's for family vacation. Have fun.

    You could try Clearwater beach straight out rte 60, but parkings a bit--. More stores and eating places then Honey moon island which as Engatz I like better
