I know, I know... you aren't supposed to do it... but does anyone disregard the manufacturer's recommendations and play video games on their rear projection TV's?

If so, have you experienced any burnin? Do you have a routine where you play for so many minutes, then give the TV a break?

I have an Xbox that has HDTV capability. I want to play the games on my rear projection HDTV, but I'm scared snitless about burnin.

I have a 65" Mitsu WS HDTV that I got in June of last year and did have a problem with burn in initially. The bright white health meter in Jedi Knight 2 for XBOX burned in so good you could see it almost all the time.

Luckily the TV had a problem with gettin to hot so I was able to return it for a new one.................I still play games on it ALL THE TIME.............but now I just have the brightness turned down to a bit more than a third and have had no trouble since..............my girl can even play tetris (now there are some staic images) on it, but I limit her to 1/2 hour at a time.

Do you have Kazaa or some other P2P software? If you do then you could get it off there. If not I could email the video. Either way, be ready to spend some quality time with the progress bar if you have a slow connection.

Thanks for the link, and sorry that I posted a duplicate thread. Didn't know it was discussed before (quite recently actually). Been overworked in the hospital.
