I got it - prepare to be addicted.

You can download the demo which will allow you for 30 minutes of free online play, then the game is $15.

For the most part it's a very simplistic game that seems to do just about everything right. I'd advise you to spend some time in the training mode first. It may seem difficult at first to get kills, but they quickly come after a few games. Use the rifleman to start.

I have to watch out with this one; I played the tutorial only and it seems like a pretty in-depth version of TeamFortress2... To which I'm extremely addicted...

If anyone, by-the-way (not-tryin-to-hyjack-the-thread), wants to throw down some TF2 sometime, look me up... the name is "everpress" add me as a friend and let me shoot you alot.

My son bought this game but he can't get past the license screen. Asks for login and password but then says invalid. Anybody else have that problem?

    Connecting to the EA servers?

He needs to setup an EA account as they have their own servers that host the game. I've read some people have had issues even after registering with EA. If that's the case, there is some odd workaround that involves downloading the Fight Night Round 4 demo, playing a game of that online, and then going back to BF:1943 and he should be all set. Ridiculous, but apparently it works. Google it if that's the issue he's having.

The game has been out for a couple weeks for PS3 & 360. Coming to PC in September.

Sorry, I probably used the wrong terminology. He paid for it with Microsoft Points and downloaded it. He didn't actually buy the disc.

Thanks for your reply and info on how to solve the problem. EA has given him the same suggestion. He hasn't tried the fix yet because he's too busy playing war with air soft weapons with the rest of his buddies. I think we need some rain here so he can get back to his XBOX.

do you really have to be a Gold Live member to play?
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.
