A Harman Kardon Citation 19 is up for auction at a local auction house this evening in the town I live in. Anyone have experience or opinions on this unit. I've read favourable reviews but I always respect the views of the hardcores here. Any idea on value if all is working properly? Any input is greatly appreciated.

Those old HK Citation 19 amps were built like tanks and conservatively rated at 100 watts RMS per channel at 8 ohms. I remember they used to be sold at Guinn Unger's Sheffield Audio here in Houston back in the late 70's or early 80's.

Wow, how's this for a coincidence: I'm pretty sure I bought the amp you're talking about, and I'm listening to it right now.
And loving it. -
that was a expensive amp in its day.
