I have a pair of RTIa9s still under warranty, and got finally got around to installing the floor spikes. On 2 of the grey "feet", the spikes would not thread in properly / at all. Can Polk send me out 2 new grey feet for these speakers, so I can spike them properly?

please advise...

hey kev, how are you working on those feet btw.I get real nervous about tilting them and worry about breaking the feet, or ripping the feet screws from the wood. When adjusting speeker placement, I literally bear hug the speeker and pick it strait up. is there an easier way?

My A-9's are on hardwood floor's, so no spike's. But i do the same thing, "bear hug" the speaker's for any kind of placement. Cant think of any other way that makes me comfortable. Maybe Polk should have provided a small hand truck for these beast's!:D

maybe consider removing all of the spikes
and buy or fabricate a "spacer" that will work
better and be stronger (you own customizing)

I have seen machined aluminum or brass that provide
"isolation" used for turntables and other sources.

Usually for speakers some sortof dampening / deadening material used.
