SDA SRS 2.3 help!

Hello all. I have asked about this problem before but did not get a clear answer as to what the cause might be.
I have a pair of SDA 2.3's and the four right woofers on the right channel speaker do not seem to be producing any sound. Through a series of tests it is concluded that they are not blown and the interconnect cable is not broken either. All of the components have been checked and seem just fine.
My guess ( kind of uneducated guess at best ) is that the upper crossover is not working? Does this make sense or could it be something else?
Also, if this is the problem, is it an easy fix? does anyone have a simple solution?
I am also into upgrades if that helps.
Thank you all for any information with this.

Have you checked the wiring? That is assuming that you have verified that the individual speakers(4 drivers) do in fact function. Check the jumpers on the speaker cable connections, etc,, once the external factors are ruled out,, you may have to go inside.Good luck, and keep us posted.JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)

remove and disconnect each driver that you suspect.
using a volt meter / ohm meter
measure the static resistance
if it is infinite then the coil is open.
check and compare with a known good driver. -
if all the drivers are good
then check for fuses or circuit breakers (if present)
check wiring
check xover components
refer to schematic of the crossover and any other circuitry -
SDA SRS 2.3TL
5.8uF capacitor
8uF capacitor
16uF capacitor
18uF capacitor
27uF capacitor
22.5 ohm resistor
22.5 ohm resistor
.3mH inductor
.4mH inductor
.875mH inductor
1.75mH inductor
16mH inductor -

Thank you JVC, I have checked all of the drivers with an ohm meter and everything checks out. How would I go about checking for fuses and circuit breakers on these speakers or where are they located?
Thanks again for the help! -
the fuses and or breakers would be mounted on the xover IF they are present.
The parts list above suggests that neither are unless added as a modification.
probably need to check the wiring and components on the xover.
schematic would be helpful... see previous post -
saw on one of the schematics something called
SAFETYGUARD RXE135 .....
suggest to confirm that has continuity
oooops that appears to be for the high end -
Actually he has the older 2.3's with the 6513 donut drivers...not the TL's.
The crossover feeding that array of 2 6510's and 2 6513's couldnt be any simpler......if the drivers checked out ok...take a look at this schematic
http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=26693&d=1186346539 ...you should be able to see what your issue is from that. The first rule of Fight Club is you don't talk about Fight Club -
Yes thank you, I do have the non-TL version.

was thinking you could wire in a small cell battery and trace the dc voltage to make sure there is complete connectivity and no shorts or open circuits.

not Home yet but I will be sure to let you know what it is when I find out.
thnx -
unfortunately my electrical skills are somewhat limited up to this point so I am going to have to get a friend of mine over to the house to see if the crossover is in fact the problem. Not sure exactly how to test it. To me it seems it is the cause due to process of elimination.

you could possible swap the crossovers (left to right)
although I do not know if the speakers are symmetric or asymmetric
(the same or mirror image of each other)
check to see if there is a label.
let us know -

Yep,, a step by step process to "rule out" what is working, any update? I suspect it may be in the crossover,,let us know what you find--good luckJC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)
