Tube Preamp...Entry level (cheap)

well, i guess the tube bug has bit as i am really enjoying my recently acquired jolida cd player. want to try and tube preamp now. if at all possible it needs two sets of inputs and at least 4 outputs.

i do have a Creek CD-60 cd player with rare factory remote and manual for a partial trade and probably the Acurus Preamp that the tube one would replace.

    There are some good tube preamps available for under $500 with multiple inputs, but if you're looking for multiple sets of outputs (two or more) that seems to drive the price up a bit higher.

    EDIT: Nevermind. I was thinking balanced outputs, not RCA outputs. I need to get more sleep! :)

    Wright WLA12a,, get it used for 500.00+/-,, killer little pre,,PtP, hovelands,well built,,they pop up frequently on A'gon,,good luck.

    I'm going to chime in here too as I'm looking at what type of tube pre i should get. Not getting one anytime soon but would like to see what people recommend, and see what kind you do get in the end and how it sounds. Keep us posted!
